The agent of Hilal's 'Godwin' Ndubuisi said that the Sudanese club received offers from Ahli and Zamalek to land the Nigerian striker. Godwin's Egyptian agent Ahmed Abbas denied Saudi reports suggesting that Ahli Jeddah are close to sign the Hilal ace. Abbas confirmed that a meeting will be held with Ahli's vice-president Mahmoud Al-Khatib on Wednesday to discuss a possible move in January. "We will meet with the Ahli vice-president on Wednesday to listen to the offer," he told FilGoal.com. Abbas also revealed other offers including a $700,000 bid from Ahli's arch rivals Zamalek to Hilal, who set a $1million asking price for the 23-year-old. "Zamalek made an official bid, Hilal of Saudi Arabia and Nassr of UAE are also interested, but the player prefers to play in Egypt." Godwin hit seven African Champions League goals for the Omdurman side this season, guiding the team to the semi-finals, where they lost to Etoile Sahel.
