Konyaspor fired their football director after Egyptian duo Abdul-Zaher Al-Saqqa and Mohamed Abdullah failed to travel with their teammates in their pre-season European tour, due to a visa delay. “The board blamed him for this embarrassing situation and he got fired,” said Al-Saqqa to FilGoal.com The Egyptians didn't travel to Germany as their visa request will take two weeks before being granted because of the strict security procedures concerning the Arab travelers. This is while the European players needed just one day to get their visas. The football director should have been aware of that. Meanwhile, Mohamed Abdullah is set to train with Ismaili to get in shape while Al-Saqqa will be training under the supervision of the National team staff.
