Kuwaiti club Kazma registered a vital 2-0 victory over Al-Salmiyah, to edge closer to Kuwaiti Crown Prince Cup semi-finals. Kuwaiti international striker Fahad Al-Fahad put Kazma in front after 17 minutes, and Youness Al-Mshifry added the second in the 68th minute. Kazma claim top spot on 11 points from 5 games in the 7-team Group A, two points clear of Salmiyah who have a game in hand. Egyptian playmaker Amr Fathi ‘Samaka' maintained his presence in Kazma's starting eleven, before being eventually substituted three minutes after the second goal. In the same group, Al-Arabi thrashed Al-Yarmouk 4-0 to remain in Kazma's pursuit with a 3-point gap and a game in hand, while Kuwait beat Khaitan 3-1. The group stage is formed of two groups, winners and runners-up qualify directly to the semi-finals.
