Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly excelled as Tottenham Hotspur came from behind to earn a 3-1 home win over Belgium's Club Brugge in the UEFA Cup on Thursday. Salou Ibrahim grabbed a shocking lead for the visitors in the 14th minute when he collected the ball on the edge of the area before curling a right-footed shot into the top corner of the net. But Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov leveled the score three minutes later with a spectacular volley after being set-up by Pascal Chimbonda. Robbie Keane put Spurs ahead three minutes past the hour mark with a cool finish past Brugge keeper Stijn Stijnen. Ghaly, who put on a great display by his neat passes and dazzling skills, set-up Berbatov for the third in the 73rd minute when he provided an inch-perfect cross from the right-flank to the former Bayer Leverkusen striker, who headed the ball home. Egypt striker Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' took part in the last 10 minutes after replacing Berbatov. The victory put Tottenham on top of Group B with six points, three ahead of second-placed Dinamo Bucharest.
