Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly dished out an assist to help Tottenham grab a 1-0 home win over Slavia Prague and qualify to the UEFA Cup group stage. The Premiership side advanced with a 2-0 aggregate score after beating the Czech Republic side 1-0 in the first-leg. Egyptian international Ghaly was introduced in the 71st minute instead of Danny Murphy, and soon made a positive impact for the Spurs. Ten minutes from time, Ghaly chested Didier Zokora's long pass inside the area to Irish striker Robbie Keane who drilled a low shot past Slavia keeper Matus Kozacik The former Feyenoord midfielder grabbed the attention of White Hart Lane spectators once again in stoppage time when he sent an inch-perfect cross to Egyptian teammate Ahmed Hossam 'Mido', whose close-range header went just wide. Keane had also a goal disallowed for offside after he ghosted behind the defenders and connected with Ghaly's cross at the near post to head the ball home.
