Hamburg SV striker Paolo Guerrero scored twice to help his team come from behind and beat Bulgaria's Litex Lovech 3-1 at home to book their place in the UEFA Cup group stage. Robert Popov stunned the home crowd seven minutes before the break but Guerrero drew Hamburg level just two minutes later. The Peruvian frontman added the second in the 52nd minute before skipper Rafael van der Vaart wrapped up the victory six minutes past the hour mark. Egyptian forward Mohamed Zidan wasn't included in the starting line-up was introduced onto the pitch in the 73rd minute, replacing Van der Vaart. The German club qualified to the competition's group stage with a 4-1 aggregate win after winning the first-leg 1-0. Hossam Ghaly's Tottenham Hotspur also advanced to the group stage following a 1-1 away draw with Cypriot team Anorthosis Famagusta, to qualify with a 7-2 aggregate victory. Brazilian midfielder Fabinho put the hosts in front eight minutes after re-start before Irish striker Robbie Keane grabbed the equalizer in the 78th minute.
