Ahli's coaching staff has chosen 'Dream resort' in the suburb of 6th October to hold their preparation camp for the African final against Sfaxien. Assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri said that the players will train on the club grounds until the Muslim Feast holiday 'Eid' and will commence their training camp on Wednesday October 25th. The African champions will defend their title against Sfaxien on Saturday October 29th, while the second-leg and decisive leg will be in Tunis on November 12th. Al-Badri said that the camp, which will last until the day of the match, was set after the Egyptian FA accepted Ahli's request to postpone the league match against Suez Cement, which was set for Monday.
Al-Hadari On the other hand, Al-Badri refuted reports linking goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari to Chelsea. Egyptian media reports have claimed that the Egyptian keeper received an offer from the Blues who lost their two starting keepers, Petr Cech and Carlo Cudducini, who suffered long term injuries. "There are no offers for Al-Hadari from Chelsea or any where else," insisted Al-Badri.
