Alexandria – Hani Al-Awadi: Saudi club Al-Taie have signed Ittihad Alexandria striker Cherno Mansaray to join the club starting of next season for $52,000. The Sierra Leone forward will receive $37,000 in addition to a $3.500 monthly salary from Al-Taie, an Ittihad official told FilGoal.com on condition of anonymity. A representative from the Saudi club had arrived in Cairo on Friday before finalizing the deal with the former Ahli and Qanah player. On the other hand, Ittihad striker Mohamed Farouk announced that he was close on putting pen to paper with Arab Contractors for EGP 500,000, but club officials have made it clear that they were going to hold on to him. The former Ahli player insisted that he was going to try and convince the club officials to let him go. The Ittihad board have also refused to let go Ghanaian striker Samuel Kyere to Belgian club Anderlecht who made him an offer for $750,000.
