Masri have signed former Ahli striker Cherno Mansaray from Saudi club Al-Taie on a three-year contract for $30,000, the club's chairman Sayed Metwalli announced on Thursday. The Sierra Leonean striker will receive EGP 450,000 throughout the three years, Metwalli told reporters. Cherno is the third foreigner in Masri's squad after Cameroonian duo striker Oumarou Sanda and goalkeeper Iboon Massenga. He played for Al-Qanah in 1994 before joining Cairo giants Ahli in 2001 but he didn't make the expected impact. After a one-year spell with Ahli, Cherno signed for Ittihad Alexandria. He then joined Al-Taie in the off-season but failed to force his way into the team's starting line-up.
