Edita Food Industries Posts Record-Breaking 3Q2025 Results with 40% Surge in Revenue
Published in Daily News Egypt on 11 - 11 - 2025

Edita Food Industries, Egypt's leading snack manufacturer, reported another stellar quarter, with revenues soaring 40.4% year-on-year to EGP 5.5 billion in the third quarter of 2025, driven by strong volume growth, product mix optimization, and margin expansion.
The company's net profit nearly doubled to EGP 659.2 million, marking an 84.5% increase compared to the same quarter last year. EBITDA rose 74% to EGP 1.1 billion, lifting the margin to 19.6% from 15.9% a year earlier. Gross profit also jumped 57.1% to EGP 1.9 billion, with a gross margin of 34.9%.
Edita's total sales volumes reached 972 million packs during the quarter, up 17.4% year-on-year and 7.3% from the previous quarter, reflecting a continued rebound in consumption. Export revenues climbed to EGP 544.9 million, representing 10% of total sales, while operations in Morocco generated EGP 132 million in revenues, up 8% year-on-year.
Chairman Eng. Hani Berzi said the results mark "another milestone in Edita's growth journey," highlighting the company's "agile business model, strong brand portfolio, and commitment to innovation."
Looking ahead, Edita is continuing to expand its production capabilities. In October 2025, the company signed an EGP 320 million asset purchase agreement to acquire two cake lines and two bakery lines, expected to boost production capacity by around 15%.
Berzi added that Edita remains focused on "investing in capacity, innovation, and regional expansion to sustain growth and capture new opportunities."
With these strong third-quarter results, Edita continues to consolidate its position as a market leader in Egypt's fast-growing packaged food industry.
