French striker Thierry Henry played down rumors hinting a possible move out of Arsenal and insisted he will stay with the Premiership club beyond next season. "The truth is I love this club and I have made up my mind to stay," Henry told the Sun newspaper on Saturday. "I can say to all my fans and the people who care about me, I want to lead the team out in the new stadium. "I'll talk to Arsene Wenger, to (vice-president) David Dein and the board and talk of the future. My mind is to stay and we have to sort this out," he added. The 28-year-old forward, whose contract with Arsenal is due to expire in June 2007, has earlier refused to sign a new deal with the North Londoners before the end of the season.
This decision fuelled speculations that Henry considers a move out with reports linking him with Spanish Champions Barcelona. But the 'Gunners' all-time top scorer said he hopes his fresh pledge will end the growing reports of his departure. "This will put an end to all the stories. We can move on," the Arsenal skipper said. "There was a lot of ridiculous speculation, but the truth is this, I never spoke with or met with a single person from any other club at any time." Arsenal are set to move out of Highbury stadium at the send of the season and into the club's new multi-million dollar Emirates Stadium located in Ashburton Grove.
