Thierry Henry has refuted recent rumors claiming that he will be parting ways with Arsenal. The French ace reaffirmed his commitment to the London club. "People in France and some over here are still saying I am going to leave. I am not going to leave. Never, I am staying here for life," Henry told The Sun. The talismanic skipper had his fair share of injury problems that kept him on the sidelines for long spells during this season, a blow which had a major effect on the Gunners' campaign.
Henry suffered several injuries this season Arsenal have been desperate to win a trophy since their FA Cup triumph in 2005, and their failure yet again to grab any piece of silverware this season does not worry Henry. "I have no intention of walking out on this club, whatever the situation is. At no stage this season have I ever thought about leaving," he said. Henry was contemplating a possible move to Barcelona last summer when the Catalans were allegedly interested in signing the 29-year-old, but he favored Arsenal by penning a four-year-deal and he is still sticking to his decision. "When I signed my new contract I said I never wanted to kick a ball for another team and nothing has changed. "I love the club. I love the fans and I am 100 per cent behind the boss (Arsene Wenger)."
