Cameroon's Cotonsport have set the 5th of October as a date for their Champions League semi-final first leg fixture against Ahli. The Cameroonian champions qualified as Group B runners-up as Ahli, who are Group A leaders, host the return leg later in October. The first leg takes place 10 days ahead of Egypt's World Cup qualifying clash against Ghana on October 15 in Kumasi. Egypt will be forced to release 11 Ahli players for the Cotonsport match in Garoua, where they were crowned champions in 2008. The Reds said on their website that head coach Mohamed Youssef has met with Egypt boss Bob Bradley to discuss how players will be available for both teams' crucial matches in October.
