Hull City manager Steve Bruce believes Geddo has what it takes to give his side the extra firepower needed in the English Premier League. Geddo rejoined Hull from Ahli following last season's loan stint, where he hit five goals to help the Tigers win top-flight promotion, as Bruce looks upbeat that the Egypt international would be able to repeat his goalscoring exploits. "This boy has got class. He is an ¬international who has scored 17 goals in 33 games for his country, so we know all about his quality," Bruce told English Daily Mirror. "We needed somebody to come in and give us some extra firepower, and Geddo provided that when he joined us on loan for the first time last season. "He can do that again and be a big player for us this time around. "Geddo will be able to cope with the ¬Premier League – he just oozes class." The 28-year-old Geddo, who has been recalled by Egypt for the World Cup qualifier against Guinea on Tuesday, will be hoping to be fit for Hull's upcoming league clash with Cardiff City next weekend.
