Hull City's Bruce backs Egypt's Gedo
Steve Bruce praises Mohamed Nagi 'Gedo' expressing confidence the player "will be able to cope with the Premier League"

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has announced his backing to new signing Egyptian forward Mohamed Nagy 'Gedo'.
"This boy has got class. He is an international who has scored 17 goals in 33 games for his country, so we know all about his quality," the coach told the Mirror Saturday.
“We needed somebody to come in and give us some extra firepower, and Gedo provided that when he joined us on loan in the first time last season.
“He can do that again and be a big player for us this time around...Gedo will be able to cope with the Premier League – he just oozes class.”
The Tigers snatched Gedo in a one-season loan from Egyptian side Ahly just minutes before the transfer window closed last week.
It's the 28-year-old second stint on Humberside after his half season loan started last winter. Gedo impressed by scoring five goals and played a key role in helping the Tigers seal promotion to the elite Premier League.
However,in the summer, Hull opted not to sign him on a permanent basis after he suffered a foot injury that has sidelined him for three months.
The towering deep-lying forward is best known for scoring five goals in the 2010 African Cup of Nations to guide Egypt to a record-breaking seventh continental title.
Hull spent £12.9m on 11 new players this season, including George Boyd, the first arrival, on 28 May, and Gedo the last late on Monday.
