Egypt and Hull City striker Mohamed Nagy 'Gedo' said on Friday that he had suffered an injury to his left leg during the team's training on Friday. "Injured," Gedo wrote on his twitter account without elaborating further. The 28-year-old attacker, who is on loan from Egyptian champions Ahly, also posted a photo of him receiving treatment. Gedo, best known for scoring five goals to steer Egypt to the last of their record seven African Nations Cup titles in 2010, made an instant impact at Hull after joining on a six-month loan deal in January, scoring five goals in his first seven appearances. He eased off afterwards but remains a key player in Steve Bruce's squad as the Tigers aim to seal promotion to the Premier League. It remains to be seen whether Gedo would be able to take part in Hull's game against Middlesbrough in the English second division (Championship) on Saturday.
