Egypt U-20 star Saleh Gomaa would not undergo any more tests at European clubs, days after receiving an offer for a week-long trial at Porto. Despite ENPPI's agreement to let Gomaa, alongside Egypt teammate Ahmed Refaat, fly to Portugal, the former seems fed up with trials that do not eventually result in tangible offers. Having already trained with Borussia Dortmund and Anderlecht, the 19-year-old midfielder has decided to stay home and wait for any possible chance to move to Europe. "I will not undergo further trials abroad whether it is with Porto or any other club," Gomaa, 20, told FilGoal.com. "If any club wish to sign me, they should make an official bid straightforward to ENPPI rather than call me for trials. I'm still keen to play abroad." Gomaa, who was a member of the Egypt squad in this summer's U-20 World Cup in Turkey, has been shortlisted by several European clubs, including the ones he trained with. Despite being close on joining German Bundesliga 2 side Greuther Furth after passing a medical back in July, the deal fell through due to his desire to move to a bigger club. It remains to be seen what would be the teenager's next destination amid the uncertain future of domestic football in Egypt.
