Egypt U-20 star Saleh Gomaa revealed that he will join German second-division side Greuther Furth rather than Borussia Dortmund. The 19-year-old has been linked with Anderlecht, Dortmund and most recently Freiburg, but has eventually made a dramatic switch to the relegated Furth. "I will travel to Germany on Thursday to finalize the deal with Furth. It is a one-year loan transfer," the ENPPI youngster, who is currently with the U-20 squad in Spain, told FilGoal.com. "I made this choice because Furth will give the opportunity to play regular football. "I think this will help me adapt to European football in a better way and without being under pressure. "I am not in a hurry to play for a big club. I don't want to repeat unsuccessful experiences of many Egyptian players in the past." Gomaa is expected to be Egypt's man to watch in the World Cup in Turkey this month as the Young Pharaohs prepare to take on Chile on June 23.
