Egypt and ENPPI youngster Saleh Gomaa is joining Belgian giants Anderlecht on trial this week. “I am travelling to Belgium on Wednesday after ENPPI accepted an invitation from Anderlecht," the 19-year-old told FilGoal.com. “Among the clubs interested in me, Anderlecht were the only one to make official contact with ENPPI, so their proposal was accepted." Gomaa, who plays as a central midfielder, has been linked with several clubs including Italy's Siena and Granada of Spain. The teenager was voted Player of the Tournament in Egypt's victorious African Youth Championship campaign earlier this month and is expected to move to a bigger club before the summer's World Cup. Despite his status as one of Egypt's hottest future prospects, Gomaa played no more than 11 minutes from ENPPI's 10 league games so far this season. Other clubs Meanwhile, ENPPI chairman Mohamed Badr indicates that Gomaa will be spending time with other European clubs as well as Anderlecht. “Anderlecht will not be the last stop for Saleh. There are other interested clubs and he will be spending time there as well," Badr said. ENPPI announced last month that they are ready to listen to offers for their highly-rated youngster, who played seven times for the Egypt senior team.
