Ahli football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz revealed that Dominique da Silva is linked with a move to Turkey but set the record straight that the want-out striker has no right to request not to take part in games. The Mauritanian Dominique, who has been struggling for a regular spot in the team's starting line-up in this Champions League campaign, demanded not to feature in upcoming games two days ago. Abdul-Hafiz, however, said they are ready to negotiate a move for their 24-year-old frontman should he come up with a tangible offer. "Dominique is a professional player in the team; he has no right to demand not to play. This decision only belongs to the management" former winger Abdul-Hafiz told FilGoal.com. "He informed the board that there's an offer from a Turkish club and asked us to agree to let him leave. "From our side, we said we're waiting for the bid and are ready to negotiate a deal." Dominique, who joined Ahli two years ago, sees out his contract in the summer of 2015. Should he part ways with Ahli, the African champions will have three slots empty for foreign players following the departure of Ivorian hitman Oussou Konan in the close season.
