Ahli have completed signing Ivorian forward Oussou Konan from MCDR for an undisclosed fee, the Cairo club said on their website. The 23-year-old signed a three-year contract on Tuesday and is expected to join the Reds in Antalya, Turkey this week. Konan, who joined MCDR from Esperance two years ago, has been impressive for the Fayoum club last term. He was the team's joint top-scorer with eight goals in 15 games before the league season was called off. The arrival of the ex-Africa Sports striker means that one of Ahli's three foreign players Dominique da Silva, Fabio Junior and Amir Sayoud will make way. Ahli have also been keeping tabs on Smouha's Ghanaian hitman Samuel Affum as well Chad striker Ezechiel Ndouassel, who plays for Club Africain in Tunisia.
