Egyptian giants Al-Ahly have marched to a sixth consecutive league title and their 35th overall after overwhelming relegated side Mansoura 3-0 at Cairo Stadium late Thursday. Following a scoreless first half, Ahly put their foot on the accelerator with Osama Hosni grabbing a brace either side of a goal from Shehab Ahmed. The win puts Ahly 12 points clear of second-placed Zamalek with three rounds remaining. The Cairo-based club can now turn their attention to the CAF Champions League as they aim to overturn a first-leg deficit after a 2-0 loss in Tripoli against Al Ittihad last weekend.
