"The penalty was doubled because Ahly fans repeated the same action several times," the EFA said in a statement on their official website. The Red Devils wrapped up a sixth consecutive league title, their 35th in history, after Osama Hosni's second-half brace gave them an easy 3-0 win over relegated Mansoura at Cairo Stadium. Hosni, who came on as a second-half substitute, struck the opener four minutes after the restart to spark wild celebrations from Ahly's vociferous and die-hard fans. They lifted banners to mock Zamalek and chanted offensive songs about their arch-rivals, who are likely to finish runners-up to Ahly.
