Ahli have been handed an EGP 10,000 fine by the Egyptian FA after their fans verbally abused Zamalek wizard Shikabala following a league game last week. The Red Devils' jubilant supporters hurled insults at Shikabala after the team snapped a four-match winless run by beating Harras Hodoud 2-1 last Tuesday. They retaliated after the in-form forward was videoed chanting offensive songs against Ahli last month. Shikabala is also expected to face hostile reception from Ahli fans during Thursday's Cairo derby. The 24-year-old, who is the league's top scorer with nine goals, said recently he would not be distracted by any chants against him during the anticipated clash between leaders Zamalek and fourth-placed Ahli. Ahli were also fined another EGP 10,000 after their fans targeted Hodoud keeper Ali Farag with a laser beam.
