Liverpool hopes to beat Leicester City, tightens Premier League title race

The 24th round of the English Premier League will start on Wednesday with four strong and important matches.
Liverpool will play Leicester City at Anfield stadium. The Reds hopes to outperform its opponent and continue its successive wins to move forward in the Premier League table.
Liverpool's star Mohamed Salah also eyes to continue his individual achievements. The Egyptian winger regained the lead in the race for the Golden Boot with 16 goals, alongside Tottenham's Harry Kane and Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with 14 goals each.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur will face Watford in a long-awaited revenge match.
The fans of Tottenham have high hopes that the duo, Lucas Moura and Son Heung-min, to make up for the absence of Kane, who will miss the team's matches for two months due to injury. Tottenham ranks third with 51 points, and Watford ranks seventh with 33 points.
Chelsea will play Bournemouth at the Dean Court. The Blues will be playing the game with a hope for a win to adjust their situation after one draw, one loss, and one win in the last three league matches. Chelsea ranks fourth with 47 points and Bournemouth ranks 12th with 30 points.
Pablo Machin is hoping to control the game and prevent Messi and Suarez from scoring, as the draw will be enough for him to qualify.
Meanwhile, at the Benito Villamarin Stadium, Real Betis will clash with Espanyol in the semis. The first leg match ended with a draw 1-1.
In a different context, Al-Khateeb is considering traveling to the United Arab Emirates in the coming days to continue the physiotherapy programme which he has been undergoing with his German doctor.
Al-Khateeb has recently had a phone call with his doctor to inform him with the latest details of his rehabilitation programme.
On the other hand, the Uruguayan Martin Lasarte, Al Ahly's coach, has expressed his happiness over beating Wadi Degla 2-1 in the 20th round of the Egyptian Premier League at Petro Sport Stadium.
Lasarte stressed that collecting three points is the most important to Al-Ahly at the current time, noting that the performance keeps developing from one match to the next.
Moreover, he said that he is aiming to correct the mistakes which were previously made, while expressing his satisfaction with the current performance of the team, and the need for more time to leave a real impact on the technical performance and planning.
Within the same context, the team continues its training on Wednesday to prepare for the match against the Tanzanian Simba on Saturday, within the third round of the fourth group in the African Champions League.
Regarding the situation of Yasser Ibrahim, the defender of the team who had an injured muscle in the match against Wadi Degla, the player is expected to undergo some medical examinations in order to determine his injury and point out the time period needed for the injury to heal.
The player left the pitch during the match with Wadi Degla. His substitute was Saad Samir who also came back from a recovery period, after an injury which kept him away from the field for several weeks.
Messi received the award from Javier Tebas, the president of La Liga. Messi has expressed his happiness over receiving the award.
"It is my pleasure to be here, and winning this award is great and valuable. The competition this season was very rewarding and we will continue fighting for more wins and more points," Messi told the Mundo Deportivo newspaper.
Last season, Messi has managed to win the Golden Shoe after scoring 34 goals, and assisting in scoring 12 others.
