Published in Daily News Egypt on 02 - 12 - 2018

On Sunday, the matches of the fourteenth round of the Premier League are concluded by three very thrilling and competitive matches.
Chelsea hosts its counterpart Fulham FC at the Stamford Bridge stadium looking for victory after the loss in the previous round—for the first time in the Premier League before Tottenham Hotspur in Derby.
The Blues enter the match with 28 points from an eight win, four draws and one loss, while Fulham enters the match with high morale after the second win in the Premier League against Southampton in the previous round, which increased its points by eight points from two wins, two draws, and nine losses.
At 4:05pm, Tottenham will be meeting its counterpart, Arsenal, in Emirates stadium in a new derby in London under the arbitration of Mike Dean, the referee.
Tottenham enters the meeting after a precious win achieved in the last round over Chelsea, with 30 points. It seeks to beat Liverpool to win the second place and come closer to Manchester City.
Arsenal, which Mohamed El Ninny plays for, enters the match with 27 points looking for a new win to bring it closer to the top.
The London team beat Bournemouth in the last round after a series of long draws.
Mohamed El Ninny's mates have managed to win against Tottenham with two goals in the match of the first round in the Emirates stadium last season, then Tottenham took revenge for its loss at the Wembley stadium.
The matches of the round will be concluded with Liverpool's match which Mohamed Salah will play in at the Anfield stadium in the Merseyside derby.
The Merseyside derby is the oldest derby in the Premier League as it has been played since 1962. The roots of the competition between the two teams date back to the rivalry between the leaders of the Everton team at the time and John Holding, the owner of the Everton stadium, who increased the stadium's rent, forcing the team to leave and move to Goodison Park stadium.
Throughout history, the two teams have met in 229 matches. Liverpool managed to win in 91 of them compared to 66 to Everton. Both saw a draw in 72 matches. The Reds players scored 322 goals and had 259 goals scored in their net.
Liverpool ranks second with 33 points from 10 wins, three draws and no losses by far. The Reds has managed to achieve a win against Watford in the previous round, while Everton plays the match with 22 points collected from six wins, four draws and three losses.
