CAIRO: Ahly defender Wael Gomaa required four stitches to treat a head injury sustained in Monday s 2-2 draw with Asyut Petroleum, the Red Devils said in their official site. The veteran center-half collided with teammate Ahmed Al-Sayed in the league match, but Ahly confirmed that the injury is minor. Gomaa did not have the best of evenings at Asyut Stadium, as he scored the home side s opening goal in his own net. Ahly will face in-form Police Union on Friday, in an attempt to end their uncommon winless streak.
