Egyptian electronics and home appliances maker, El-Araby Group, seeks to export 40 percent of its production by 2022, vice president Ibrahim El Araby said. El Araby further told Amwal Al Ghad that the volume of exports currently captures 15 percent of the total volume of production with plans to increase exports as part of a plan to develop the company. He added that the company is exporting to 24 Arab and African countries, and it aims for its products to reach 50 countries by 2020. On the other hand, El Araby said that his company is set to open three new factories within the current year, one for cookers in Qalyub and the two other factories for washing machines and ceiling fans in Beni Suef's industrial zone.
