Egypt's stock market (EGX) ended higher on Tuesday, lifted by broad-based gains and strong foreign inflows. The benchmark EGX30 index rose 0.77 per cent to 36,670 points, while the EGX33 Shariah index gained 1.04 per cent to 3,657.64. The EGX35-LV added 0.67 per cent to 3,999.87. Among smaller stocks, the EGX70 index advanced 0.53 per cent to 11,018.91, and the broader EGX100 climbed 0.57 per cent to 14,609.69. Total market capitalisation stood at 2.58 trillion Egyptian pounds. Foreign investors were net buyers at 6.4 billion pounds, while Arab investors bought a net 674.2 million.
