Egypt's stock market (EGX) closed higher on Monday, lifted by broad-based gains and strong foreign inflows. The benchmark EGX30 index rose 0.62 per cent to 36,391 points, while the EGX33 Shariah index added 0.93 per cent to 3,620.07 points. The EGX35-LV advanced 0.72 per cent to 3,973.24 points. Among smaller stocks, the EGX70 climbed 1.13 per cent to 10,961.23 points, and the broader EGX100 rose 1.06 per cent to 14,526.79 points. Total market capitalisation reached 2.56 trillion Egyptian pounds. Arab investors were net buyers at 297.7 million pounds, while foreign investors bought a net 974.4 million pounds.
