Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aty on Sunday stressed the importance of de-escalation between India and Pakistan, the need to exercise restraint, and to avoid further tension in South Asia during a phone call with his Pakistani counterpart Muhammad Ishaq Dar. Abdel-Aty underscored that reducing tensions would support security and stability in the region during this critical period. For his part, Pakistan's Foreign Minister praised the relations between Egypt and Pakistan, affirming his country's keenness to strengthen bilateral ties in all fields.
