A Russian frigate armed with Caliber missiles was sent into the eastern Mediterranean after US Friday's missile attack on Syria, a Russian source said on Friday. "As part of a Russian campaign, Frigate Admiral Grigorovich was sent to the logistics center in Tartous port," the source, who requested anonymity, said, without providing further details on the tasks assigned to the frigate. Moscow slammed a US strike against a military airbase near Hems in retaliation for an Assad regime gas attack on Khan Shykhoun village in the countryside of Idlib on Tuesday. Earlier on Friday, spokesman for Russian Ministry of Defense announced the suspension of Aviation Safety Agreement with the US, to avoid aircraft collision between both sides during the operations over Syria.
