Ministry of Civil Aviation announced Tuesday that there are no facts to reinforce Russian officials' assertions that Russian passengers plane, which fell down in Sinai, had crashed in mid-air. Spokesman for the ministry, Mohamed Rahmi stressed that the Russian plane did not send an emergency call, before it fell down, Al Bawaba News reported. But, many experts believe that the lack of an emergency call and scattering wreckage over a wide area of land, point to a sudden crash. However, several theories have emerged regarding the cause of the crash, as some said that the plane was hit by a missile or a bomb exploded on board or an imbalance in the body has led the plane to crash. Nonetheless, it is widely believed that militants do not possess missiles capable of hitting an aircraft flying at an altitude of 30 thousand feet. Health official in Sharm El Sheikh Airport, Medhat Kandil announced that 196 bodies of the Russian victims have been transferred to their home country. Kandil added that the remains of another 28 victims were sent to Russia on Tuesday on a military plane. More than 200 people have died in the plane crash.
