Authorities deny attempted targeting of Cairo Security Directorate

A security source within the Cairo Security Directorate denied Sunday in a statement to Al-Bawaba News, the rumors that circulated about targeting security services at the directorate.
Reports emerged of two people riding a motorcycle attempted to target the security services in front of the Cairo Security Directorate using an improvised explosive device (IED).
The source who spoke to Al-Bawaba on condition of anonymity, said that these reports are completely inaccurate and that the security services are at their present positions in the surroundings of the directorate.
