Int'l coalition launches 26 airstrikes in Iraq, Syria

U.S.-led international coalition launched 26 airstrikes against Islamic State (IS) jihadist group in Iraq and Syria, Al Bawaba News reported Friday.
The coalition command said that it carried out 20 airstrikes on IS sites in a number of Iraqi cities including Mosul, Fallujah and Ramadi.
It added that the coalition launched six airstrikes targeting IS sites in Syria's Dir Ezzor and Haskah.
The coalition launched Aug. 2014 its war against IS that captured large swathes of Iraq and Syria.
