Int'l coalition launches 13 airstrikes on IS in Iraq, Syria

U.S.-led international coalition launched 13 airstrikes on Islamic State (IS) sites in Syria and Iraq, Al Bawaba News reported Tuesday.
The U.S. military said in a statement that the coalition conducted 8 airstrikes on IS sites in the Iraqi cities of Baiji, Mosul and Ramadi, destroying various fighting positions, buildings, vehicles and artillery.
In Syria, the coalition targeted IS sites in Al Haskah, Kobani and Raqqa, destroying 8 fighting positions, tunnels, two buildings and two vehicles, the U.S. military added.
