Iraqi army kills 18 IS militants

The Iraqi army killed 8 Islamic State (IS) militants in the Saladin province, Al Bawaba News reported Wednesday.
The Iraqi army said in a statement that it carried out several air strikes against IS sites in Saladin, killing 8 militants and destroying 3 military vehicles.
The Iraqi army with the U.S.-led international coalition also conducted 34 airstrikes on IS targets in Al Dolab, Mosul, Baiji, Tal Afar and Fallujah, killing 10 IS militants and destroying 5 military vehicles and 2 outposts, the statement read.
