U.S. military officials announced Sunday that the Anti-IS international coalition's forces conducted 13 air strikes on Islamic State's (IS) positions in Iraq and Syria over the past 24 hours. The military stated that joint air force carried out 12 air strikes on IS positions in Iraq including two targeting six oil excavators and a tactical unit near the town of Hawija in Saladin province, and four air raids on two tactical units, combat outpost, and a number of vehicles near Fallujah, west of Baghdad. Four air strikes targeted a number of tactical units, combat outposts, and vehicles near Haditha, Kirkuk, and Mosul, in addition to two air strikes on a factory for assembling explosive packs near Tal Afar. In Syria, the international coalition has conducted an air raid targeting a tactical unit and a number of combat outposts near Ain Al Arab.
