The International anti-IS coalition launched late Sunday nine air raids targeting Islamic State's (IS) positions in Iraq and Syria, according to MENA. The Joint Task Force of the international coalition stated that the U.S. and its allies carried out three air raids near the town of Kobanî in Syria, targeting a tactical unit and a number of vehicles in addition to combat outposts belonging to IS. International coalition's fighter jets launched an air raid near the Syrian city of Raqqa, destroying an armored personnel carrier. The statement added that air strikes targeted three IS positions near the Iraqi city of Mosul, destroying IS drillers and a shipping container. Meanwhile, an IS building, hideout, and a heavy artillery site were destroyed in two air raids near the city of Ramadi in Iraq.
