Sunderland keep Elmohammady in their squad next season Egypt winger Ahmed Elmohammady is not included in Sunderland's released players' list for this summer
English Premier League outfit Sunderland have excluded Egypt's right wing-back Ahmed Elmohammdy from their released players' list this summer. The Black Cats announced Saturday that nine players will be leaving the Stadium of Light this summer following the expiration of their current deals with the team, however, Elmohammady was out of the list, thus ending the Egyptian player's state of limbo. Reports in the English media revealed Friday that Sunderland are willing to sell the player this summer and demanded £1.5 million for his signature. Early last month, the 24-year-old right winger revealed that he might leave Sunderland in the summer as he has fallen down the pecking order since coach Martin O'Neill took over at Sunderland in December. The Northern Irish manager had even uncharacteristically allowed Elmohamady to take part in Egypt's training camps in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates in April. To confirm the news, the Egyptian star shared the link of the article that shows the names of the released players on his account in the social media network "Twitter" on Saturday.
