Sunderland's Elmohamady on West Ham's radar West Ham chasing Sunderland's Egyptian winger Elmohamady who has fallen out of favour at the club since Martin O'Neill took over in December, according to UK press reports
Sunderland's Egyptian right-winger Ahmed Elmohamady is reportedly wanted by Championship side West Ham after the player announced his intention to leave. “Elmohamady is only interested in joining another top-flight side in England and that means any move to Upton Park would depend on how West Ham fare in the play-offs if they fail to secure automatic promotion,” English website Sundaysun.co.uk reported on Sunday. The 24-year-old right wing-back has fallen down the pecking order since coach Martin O'Neill took over at Sunderland in December. The Northern Irish manager has even allowed Elmohamady to take part in Egypt's training camps in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates despite the Premier League's hectic fixture schedule.
