European-based duo Ahmed Elmohamady, who plays for Premier League side Sunderland, and Lierse striker Mohamed Elgabas are set to arrive in Cairo by Tuesday to join the Pharaohs in their final stage ahead of the World Cup qualifiers in June. "We were in talks with the players and also with their clubs which agreed to release them seeing that the European season has come to an end," goalkeepers' coach Zaki Abdel-Fattah was quoted as saying on Ahram Sports. Egypt will hold a preparation camp in Morocco starting from 17 or 18 May ahead of Mozambique game on 1 June in the start of their World Cup 2014 qualifiers' campaign. "Zidan is still doubtful for this camp as he still has a few commitments in Germany," Abdel-Fattah added. The 30-year old striker is discussing his future as he spent the past six months on loan at Mainz coming from Bundesliga Champions Dortmund. Meanwhile Ittihad Jeddah midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou will catch the team in Morocco on 23 June after the end of the Saudi League.
