Egypt coach Bradley yet to settle on starting XI ahead of Mozambique tie Bob Bradley still experiments with Egypt's squad as the team prepares to face Mozambique in the World Cup qualifiers
Egypt coach Bob Bradley said he has yet to settle on the team's starting XI ahead of the opening World Cup qualifier against Mozambique. The Pharaohs host Mozambique in Alexandria on 1 June in their first Group G game as they seek to reach the football's most prestigious tournament for the first time since 1990. “I've yet to choose the 11 players who will start against Mozambique,” state news agency MENA quoted Bradley as saying. “I will settle on the line up during the forthcoming training camp in Morocco,” he added after Egypt crushed Lebanon 4-1 in a friendly game on Friday. Egypt have held successive training camps in Arab countries since the February Port Said disaster, which led to the cancellation of the Egyptian Premier League. All domestic football activities have been suspended since. The seven-time African champions will also face Guinea and Zimbabwe in Group G. The group winners will advance to the final round to vie for one of the five African tickets for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
