Egypt keeper El-Hadary may return to Sudan
Ittihad welcomes Essam El-Hadary's return to Sudanese side Merriekh if he gives up his benefits

Ittihad of Alexandria chairman, Effat El-Sadat, has announced that he will hold a meeting with goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary to discuss his return to former club, Sudanese Merreikh.
“I tried to contact Merreikh president Jamal El-Wali to reach an agreement about El-Hadary's return,” El-Sadat was quoted as saying on Thursday on the Sudanese website, cover-sd.com.
The Egyptian coastal club chairman insisted that El-Hadary would only get the exit green light if “he dropped his million pound dues” for the loan period he stayed at the club.
The 38-year-old former Ahly, Zamalek and Ismaily goalie has been granted exceptional permission from FIFA to terminate his loan with Ittihad, due to the extraordinary circumstances Egyptian football is undergoing.
All Egyptian competitions have been suspended in the revolutionary country, following the deaths of more than 70 Ahly supporters in the stands of the Port Said stadium after a Masry league game.
The long-time Egypt keeper, who has been complaining about the lack of games, flirted with Merreikh this week saying that he “may return back to Sudan in June” as Brazilian coach Ricardro wants him back.
