The Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA) said on Saturday that there are no signs of increased radiation levels across the country, amid heightened regional tensions. In an official statement, the authority said it is monitoring the situation around the clock, particularly in relation to nuclear facilities in neighboring countries, as developments in the region unfold. "There are no indications of any change or rise in background radiation within the Arab Republic of Egypt," the authority said, adding that it continues to track updates through coordination with national agencies and reports from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Radiation levels across Egypt are being monitored through the authority's early warning and detection system, which uses advanced sensors deployed nationwide. The authority urged citizens to rely only on official information for updates related to radiological safety. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English
