Egyptian goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary will leave Sudanese side El-Merreikh as soon as replacement keeper recovers from a fractured finger

Chairman of the Sudanese side El-Merreikh Gamal El-Wali has reached an agreement with the team's Egyptian goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary allowing him to leave the club when his teammate Mohamed Kamal recovers from a fractured finger.
During a meeting El-Hadary convinced the Sudanese side's boss that he is unable to stay with team due to family circumstances.
"I will stay with Merreikh until the second goalkeeper Kamal makes a full recovery," El-Hadary told the Sudanese newspaper Goansport, after his meeting with El-Wali.
"El- Merreikh's president told me that he won't stand against my future and will let me leave when I receive a formal offer," added El-Hadary.
The 38-year old shotstopper revealed that Egyptian league newcomers Maqassa will officially ask for his services next week.
The former Ahly, Ismaily and Zamalek goalkeeper, who signed a three-year contract with El-Merreikh last January, recently announced that he will leave this summer, revealing that English second division team Leicester City and several other clubs are interested in his services.
The Pharaohs' goalkeeper has found stability elusive since leaving Ahly in acrimonious circumstances in February 2008 and having brief stints with Swiss side Sion and Egyptian duo Ismaily and Zamalek.
