Egypt's Drug Authority (EDA) Chairman Ali El-Ghamrawy met with executives from global pharmaceutical company Organon to discuss expanding its presence in the country's biologics sector and boosting cooperation under a flexible regulatory framework, the Cabinet said on Wednesday. Talks focused on aligning corporate investment with patient needs to strengthen Egypt's role as a regional hub for drug manufacturing and trade. El-Ghamrawy reaffirmed the regulator's commitment to work with international firms to ensure sector sustainability, attract new investment and enhance Egypt's drug security. Organon executives welcomed the EDA's policies, saying its streamlined procedures reduce barriers for global companies and support the continuity of drug supplies for Egyptian patients.
