Customs officers at Cairo International Airport detained a passenger on Tuesday after he attempted to smuggle two dead ducks stuffed with gold powder onto a plane bound for Kenya's capital Nairobi.
Officers discovered the gold after scanning the passenger's luggage.
Charges have reportedly been brought against the passenger, whose nationality remains unconfirmed.
