Heat wave in Egypt to reach peak on Sunday and Monday

Egypt's Meteorological Authority (EMA) said on Saturday that a nationwide heat wave is set to reach its peak on Sunday and Monday at 41 degrees Celsius.
The heat wave started on Thursday, the first day of the holy month Ramadan, the EMA General Manager of Weather Analysis Ahmed Farouk told private news channel CBC on Saturday.
Farouk said that the heat wave will end on Wednesday, with temperatures to drop by three to four degrees.
Farouk cautioned citizens to cover their heads in direct sunlight and increase their water intake after they break their fast at sundown.
This year, Muslims fasting during Ramadan will abstain from food and drink for 15 hours daily.
