Elmohamady signs boots for Christmas charity

English Premier League club Sunderland has chosen the team's Egyptian winger, Ahmed Elmohamady, to join its charity marketing activities.
The club invited fans to support its foundation, SAFC, this Christmas by bidding on a number of exclusive, autographed items.
“You could get your hands on a signed, game worn Ghana shirt belonging to Sunderland star John Mensah, who represented his country in the summer's world Cup,” the Black Cats posted on their official website, Monday.
“Meanwhile, Asamoah Gyan, Ahmed Elmohamady and Jordan Henderson have all contributed pairs of signed boots, as has Dutch master Bolo Zenden,” they added.
Elmohamady's signed boots can be purchased by supporters for £100.
The club confirmed that all proceeds go directly to the SAFC foundation, impacting the lives of thousands of children and adults in the region.
The 23-year-old Egyptian has had an outstanding performance this season, leading Sunderland's board to make good use of his popularity.
To revive sales at their retail outlet, the club invited supporters to meet the talented winger in an exclusive signing session last month.
